![]() The Exhibition “Petersburg-2011 of new works by Petersburg artists takes place at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.
The Exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, drawings, photos, arts and crafts.
 Petersburg Manege is an original directory of modern art representing works by well-known painters and youth and also traditional art and new trends. It is the largest exhibition uniting up about 500 artists. There are the most remarkable city art groups, well-known artists and young painters. Horse Guards building an arena in which there is now the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege", was built in the XIX century to the Horse Guards regiment of the great architect Giacomo Quarenghi. The first exhibitions and concerts, as well as all sorts of recreational activities have been started in the building of the arena in the early XX century.
Nowadays, "Arena" - is the largest showroom in St. Petersburg, and one of the largest in Russia in general.
There are major art exhibitions of different formats - exhibitions devoted to St. Petersburg and children's show, international exchange and exhibition, exhibition of works by individual artists and much art groups, art exhibitions, included in private collections, etc. Also, there are concerts, presentations, festivals of contemporary art, creative meetings, workshops and master classes.
Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" has a large collection of contemporary art in St. Petersburg. Among belonging to "Arena" exhibits - paintings, sculptures, graphic works and arts and crafts created by artists of St. Petersburg installed.
